We are part of Pegasus Health (Charitable) Ltd, and we work in partnerships with our communities, general practices and other health providers to improve the health and wellbeing of people in our communities.

Ko tāu ake mahi | What you will be doing

As an Occupational Health Nurse you will be working in a very diverse range of workplaces ranging from manufacturing, construction, engineering and government departments. You will be providing a variety of services, including pre-employment health assessments, drug testing, health monitoring, wellbeing checks, vaccinations, ergonomic workstation assessments and biological sampling. We have a position for 32 - 40 hours per week available. 

The position will commence at the beginning of 2025.

Ko ngā pūkenga ōu | What you will bring

  • You will be a registered general or enrolled nurse with a current practicing certificate and one or more years of nursing experience post registration
  • Have an interest and desire to undergo training in the occupational health area
  • You will have a warm personality with excellent interpersonal skills that will enable you to work effectively in a team environment but will also be able to work independently
  • Your report writing, editing and verbal communication will be strong with a focus on quality and detail
  • Have intermediate or higher IT skills including in Microsoft office
  • You will have a current full driver’s license and have your own transport
