The role

As Privacy Compliance Administrator, you’ll play a key role in protecting the privacy and integrity of information shared through HealthOne. Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to consumer enquiries via the privacy helpdesk, including access requests, confidentiality concerns, and general privacy matters, with empathy and professionalism.
• Supporting health professionals who use HealthOne, helping them understand their privacy responsibilities and safe system use.
• Working closely with the HealthOne team to support privacy-related decision-making and issue resolution.
• Maintaining and updating privacy documentation, policies, guidance, and training materials to ensure alignment with legislation and best practice.
• Administering the privacy access audit process, including investigations, documentation of findings, and follow-up actions to ensure compliance.

About you

You bring a calm, confident, and detail-focused approach, along with a genuine commitment to privacy and compliance. You’ll ideally have:

• At least two years’ experience in an administrative or compliance-focused role, preferably in a regulated or service-oriented environment.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional phone manner, with the ability to support people who may be distressed or under pressure.
• An understanding of privacy principles and their importance in the health sector.
• Experience creating and maintaining clear, well-structured documentation, processes, and guidance material.
• A disciplined, methodical approach to applying procedures consistently and accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain privacy concepts clearly to a wide range of audiences.
