Administrator - Acute Demand Co-ordination Service
What you will be doing
As an administrator for the Acute Demand Co-ordination service, you will be responsible for providing ongoing support for the Acute Demand Service
You will assist with the coordination of services ensuring:
- Responsive and efficient coordination of services whilst developing strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- All telephone enquiries are received with excellent customer support in a professional and timely manner.
- Facilitate a rapid response for all requests to arrange services, managing incoming referrals
Details about the role
- fixed term position for 14 months cover parental leave
- part time role 0.6FTE, 24 hours per week
- rostered position, which will require you to be available to work across 6 days a week, Monday - Saturday between the hours of 7.30am-9pm.
What you will bring
- Excellent communication skills
- Great telephone manner
- Experience using data bases and the Microsoft Office suite
- Administrative and customer service background
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for our patients
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Medical terminology and previous contact centre experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Your flexibility, computer literacy, ability to learn, and your strong customer service skills will be the key to your success in this role

Operating for over 25 years, it is the preferred provider of after-hours care for most family doctors in Christchurch. We are the only Urgent Care centre in Christchurch that operates 24/7. Our mandate is to always be there for people when they need us.
